Mendocino Coast Heather Society

The Society was formed in 2005 from the California North Coast Chapter which originated in 1991.   It draws  members principally from the Mendocino  area of Northern California.
The Society activities include educating  members and the public about the virtues of  heathers particularly in regard to varieties  suitable for the Northern California Coast.

Meetings and Events

 Watch for more info on meetings scheduled for 9 Feb, 12 April, 14 June, 16 August,  11 Oct and 13 Dec ( annual social/potluck).
The meeting on 16 Aug is a Celebration of Heathers at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, Fort Bragg from 10am to1pm.

The Society maintains the heather  collection at the Mendocino Coast Botanical  Gardens.

 Meetings are held bimonthly at the  Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens* (or in  members' homes).  A general bulletin and  list of coming events are published before  meetings.
