The NAHS is the parent organization which functions
through six Chapters based in the United States and
in Canada. One chapter is on the U.S. East Coast,
four on the West Coast, and one in British Columbia,

Members receive
the official journal of the NAHS called "Heather
News" which is published quarterly. Participating
nurseries offer discounts to NAHS members - see link
button above to "Nurseries". The Society
maintains resources and provides information to individuals
and to Chapters. It assists with the staging of
major events such as regular conferences. One freely
available resource is this web site which is principally
designed to provide easy access to up-to-date heather
information and news .
